We are currently raising £4000 to pay for the refurbishment of our bells, which was carried out by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry. We are grateful to the William Hartley Memorial Fund of the Handbell Ringers of Great Britain for a loan which enabled us to have this work carried out.
We have already raised over £1000, thanks to donations from friends, a Quiz Night, a very successful Evening with Tommy Mundon, and various other activities. We are currently saving coins in Smartie packs (free Smarties in the pack!) and collecting items to sell at a Carboot Sale. Further social events will follow in the autumn.
